  A good place to stop for a bite to eat. Had the poutine and a bacon cheeseburger. The fries were pretty darn good, but not the "Best in the World" as advertised. For a brown gravy, it was fairly tasty. Could have used more cheese curds mixed throughout the order instead of just off on the one side at the top. My bacon cheeseburger was ok for the price. I couldn't taste much of the bacon despite there being there big chunks on top, but the burger patty itself was fresh and beefy. You could tell it was homemade. I'll likely stop again if I'm driving through next summer to try out their fish. ☺

  I always try to stop here at least once every summer. Fries are excellent. The pickerel dinners are also extremely good. Located right on the turn off to Bonfield, Ontario. On the intersection of Road 531and Highway 17. Coming from North Bay, it will be on the right. If you’re travelling from Mattawa, look for it in your left. It’s a small portable kitchen on wheels.
